Seedrs (www.seedrs.com) is an online platform for discovering and investing in great startups. Its equity “crowd funding” business allows investors across Europe to invest (from £10!) in a range of innovative start ups. Since it received its regulatory approval from the Financial Conduct Authority in May 2012 Seedrs had gone from strength to strength. It was named one of “East London’s 20 Hottest Startups” by The Guardian, was Wired’s “Startup of the Week and was recently named by Silicon Valley Comes to the UK as one of the 100 UK Businesses.
The business model is simple and scalable and we look forward to seeing Seedrs help both European entrepreneurs funding their new venture and investors finding exciting projects to finance.
