Irene Garcia Sacedon is a marketplace expert specialising in platform value proposition, end to end user experience and trust. She has 15 years’ experience in commercial and operational roles within the eCommerce, Retail and Consulting sectors.
Prior to joining Launchworks & Co, Irene worked for 5 years at eBay in a number of senior roles both with European and UK scope. Always keeping the end to end customer experience at heart, she led commercial, analytical, product and marketing teams to holistically revamp the C2C marketplace proposition. She also spent time developing, leading and implementing European trust programmes.
Irene also has ample retail and consumer goods experience. She spent part of her career at Tesco and her latest role was COO for Ben’s Cookies where she led all operations teams, including digital, to introduce scalable processes, KPIs and analytics to enable retail and manufacturing growth of 20% YoY, expansion into 2 new geographies and 25% store growth.
She started her career as a strategy consultant for Bain & Company.
She holds a BSc in Business Administration from CUNEF in Madrid (Spain) and an MBA from INSEAD.
