Nicolas Bailleux is a marketplace expert who specialises in growth strategies (acquisition, scaling and retention), trust, customer care and process optimisation. Nicolas has 13 year’s experience including over 8 years working with internet companies, and online marketplaces in particular.

Prior to joining Launchworks & Co, Nicolas worked for 7 years at eBay – including 5 years as part of the management team for eBay Marketplaces Greater Europe – and for 1.5 years as Chief Marketplace Officer at Vidressing.com, the leading branded and luxury fashion online marketplace in France. Previously, Nicolas was a strategy consultant at Roland Berger.

Nicolas also advises various internet start-ups, from pre-seed to post-Series B, in the United Kingdom and France.

Nicolas holds a Diplôme d’Ingénieur (Grande École) from ENSEA in France, a Master of Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology in Atlanta, as well as an MBA from INSEAD.
